Inserting object

Open Dreamweaver, open document in which you want to place gallery. Slide Gallery can be inserted in page through the menu option "Insert -> Solutions4Website -> HTML5 Slide Gallery" or the Insert Bar. After you choose "HTML5 Slide Gallery" you will see a dialog window where you have to define the destination folder. There (in this folder) will be created folder 'gallery_files' and inside this folder will be placed files: jquery.slide-gallery.min.js, slide-gallery.css, gallery.xml and images. Links to files jquery.slide-gallery.min.js and slide-gallery.css will be automatically added into tag <head>:

<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="gallery_files/slide-gallery.css" />
<script type="text/javascript" src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.8.2/jquery.min.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="gallery_files/jquery.slide-gallery.min.js"></script>

Take a note that libraries: jQuery and jQuery-UI, are connecting from the Google Libraries API resource. Also in tag <head> will be automatically added script, which is initializing the component:

<script type="text/javascript">
  $(document).ready(function(){
    $("#JQSlideGallery1").fdSlideGallery({
      sourceURL:"gallery_files/gallery.xml",
      categoriesVisible:true,
      categoriesScrollingLoop:false,
      categoriesScrollingStep:1,
      categoriesScrollingDuration:500,
      categoriesScrollingEasing:"easeOutQuad",
      infoVisible:true,
      infoCaption:"PHOTO _AMOUNT_ OF _TOTAL_",
      thumbnailsVisible:true,
      thumbnailsScrollingStep:1,
      thumbnailsScrollingDuration:500,
      thumbnailsScrollingEasing:"easeOutQuad",
      thumbServerScript:"",
      tipEnabled:false,
      slidesAlign:"center",
      slidesScrollingAuto:false,
      slidesScrollingLoop:true,
      slidesScrollingStep:1,
      slidesScrollingDuration:500,
      slidesScrollingEasing:"easeOutQuad",
      slidesScrollingDelay:5000,
      descriptionAnimationDuration:250,
      descriptionAnimationEasing:"easeOutQuad",
      timerVisible:true,
      controlsAutoHide:true,
      controlsHideDelay:2000,
      thumbnailsServerScript:""
    });
  });
</script>

HTML5 Slide Gallery is placed in a special tag <div id="JQSlideGallery1" class="JQSlideGallery">...</div>. More information about gallery structure you can find in section 'Structure of the component'.

That’s all! In the design view of your web page you will see new HTML5 Slide Gallery.
